Not many of us could imagine at the beginning of the year that 2020 would be all about the coronavirus. Covid-19 developed into a pandemic and it has ravaged most of the world with tragic and distressing consequences. Many countries have taken precautions and were on lockdown during the worst months in spring and again this autumn.

The Faroe Islands also closed its borders to the outside world, but we at Posta Stamps have been at work as usual. We have had to hold back some outgoing mail as a number of countries were closed, but business is running again as usual for now.

Due to the risk of spreading the coronavirus, all exhibitions this year have been cancelled. We very much regret this, but we have to adapt to the changing circumstances - and of course, we hope that we can see you in the coming year.

Otherwise, we hope that you and your loved ones are well and not too affected by the situation. Take care of yourself - maybe we will see each other again soon - somewhere out there.
