On the 30th January, 1975, the Post and Telegraph Office issued 14 different definitives for use in the Faroe Islands.

250 and 300 öre: Streymoy and Vágar from a photograph by Ásmundur Poulsen. Engraving by Cz. Slania.
350 öre: Viðoy and Svínoy from a painting by Eyvindur Mohr.
450 öre: Nes in Suðuroy from a painting by Ruth Smith.
500 öre: Hvítanes and Skálafjørður from a painting by S. Joensen-Mikines.
The figures and letters on the stamps are designed by Lydia Laksafoss. The engraving of the stamps is made in steel engraving by Czeslaw Slania.
The stamps in the denominations up to 300 öre are printed by the Stamp Printing Office of the Post and Telegraph Office in steel plate printing on ordinary stamps paper. The stamps in the denominations of 350, 450, and 500 öre are printed in photogravure by the printing office for bank notes of Finland's bank (Finlands Banks Sedeltryckeri).
